Job summary

Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego seeks a Spa Supervisor to lead daily operations of the spa, salon and fitness facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction.

Reporting to the Spa & Recreation Manager and Spa Director, you will coordinate staffing, inventory, maintenance and vendor relations, while upholding SOPs and delivering exceptional hospitality across all guest touchpoints. This is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in spa or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable and flexible with schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of spa, salon, and fitness facilities with focus on maintenance, cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
• Collaborate with engineering to address facility concerns, ensuring timely resolution of maintenance issues.
• Maintain inventory and manage guest supply orders; submit orders for guest supplies when necessary.
• Schedule spa attendants and gym attendants to ensure proper coverage, adhering to labor standards; complete daily cleaning and maintenance duties when needed.
• Implement and uphold standard operating procedures for both spa and fitness facilities to encourage best practices.
• Supervise spa attendant staff and operational areas to ensure maximum yield and labor efficiency.
• Assist the Spa Director with maintaining high standards for spa attendants and locker room operations.
• Monitor and manage spa linen inventory; coordinate with engineering for repairs and upkeep.
• Enter daily work orders for items needing attention from resort engineering; perform weekly spa walkthroughs.
• Other duties as assigned by Spa & Recreation Manager and Spa Director.
