Fairmont Grand Del Mar is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead daily operations in a luxury setting. You will oversee shifts, inspections, training, and payroll while maintaining five-star standards across all areas.

Qualifications

• Three years of housekeeping experience required.
• Two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• College graduate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must communicate in English well; Spanish or French Creole preferred.
• Experience in luxury hotel environments preferred.
• Ability to coach and develop employees and motivate by example.
• Ability to promote skill levels in a challenging work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for the housekeeping department.
• Organize morning and evening shifts and ensure teams are set for the day.
• Ensure daily room inspections are completed and follow up with attendants.
• Assist with scheduling and training of housekeeping staff.
• Walk public areas to maintain 5-star cleanliness and standards.
• Assist with payroll documentation and timely paperwork.
• Attend daily and weekly manager meetings and pre-conferences.
• Oversee laundry staff and day-to-day operations.
• Manage purchasing of housekeeping supplies and inventory.
