Job summary

Fairmont Grand Del Mar is seeking a Spa Group Sales Coordinator to join our luxury team in Del Mar, CA. This role focuses on flawless execution of spa and group reservations and events, working closely with Spa, Sales and Events teams to transform client expectations into memorable experiences.

Under the Spa Manager, you’ll drive retail and service performance in our boutique while maintaining Five-Star standards and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Clear and professional telephone communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and responsibilities with ease.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior hospitality sales experience preferred.
• Possess strong customer service and communication skills, anticipate the needs of our guests and have an enthusiastic desire to attain the highest levels of quality in all areas of the hotel.
• Ability to deal with a high volume of incoming calls, prepare customer correspondence such as contracts and proposals, open and distribute mail, make photocopies, prepare reports and send faxes.
• Maintain availability and dedication to The Spa at Fairmont Grand Del Mar, being available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill spa reservations for all business segments (group, resort, local, and member guests).
• Assist with guest arrival and departure in a timely and courteous manner.
• Drive retail sales and sales to service performance within the Spa boutique.
• Coordinate all Spa related requests and group reservations with Spa, Sales and Events teams.
• Maintain accurate group reservation lists, contracts, rates, billing, and inventory.
• Respond to group inquiries via email, phone, and voicemail promptly.
