Job summary

Banya 5 Urban Spa in Seattle seeks an Operations Director to partner with Spa and Facilities Directors and ownership to oversee daily spa operations, budgeting and vendor management. This role emphasizes leadership, process improvements, and ensuring top-notch customer service in a fast-paced wellness environment.

The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, manage schedules and payroll, and uphold compliance while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management experience, including multi-department leadership.
• Experience in fast-paced customer service environments and leading teams.
• Strong scheduling, payroll auditing, and compliance with Seattle employment law.
• Proficiency with scheduling software, POS systems (Zenoti a plus).
• Ability to analyze financial reports and budgets to drive decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with staff, vendors, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor day-to-day operations to meet business objectives.
• Lead weekly Manager on Duty shifts and attend to front desk/attendant scheduling.
• Collaborate with Operating Partner on operational decisions and vendor relations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for the team.
• Oversee Front of House and ensure positive customer relations and satisfaction.
• Review financial information and adjust budgets to promote profitability.
• Develop and implement operational policies and processes; ensure compliance.
• Act as liaison for VIP members and maintain confidential information.
