Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Williamsburg, VA seeks a Spa & Fitness Operations Leader to assist the Spa Director in daily management of spa, retail, membership, salon, and fitness programs, ensuring Forbes standards and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include coordinating bookings, inventory, promotions, staff hiring and coaching, and budget oversight to maximize revenue while maintaining high cleanliness and service levels across facilities.

Qualifications

• Four (4) or more years of experience working in a spa, fitness facility, country club or related facility.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience supervising associates.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A Spa or Fitness Certification is preferred.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily spa operations, including bookings, inventory, and staff coordination.
• Assist with spa member fitness areas and billing processes.
• Assist in promoting spa services to generate revenue and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Help hire staff and provide coaching to team members while managing budget guidelines.
• Maintain spa cleanliness and coordinate maintenance with housekeeping.
• Ensure service standards exceed guest expectations and address concerns professionally.
