Job summary

Leslie’s Poolmart Inc. is seeking a spa technician to maintain customers’ water quality for residential and commercial pools and spas, while delivering superior service and guidance. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to company policies, and professional conduct.

You will perform water testing, chemical balancing, and routine maintenance, including filter changes and light repairs. A valid high school diploma and spa experience are preferred; a company vehicle may be used for

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Previous experience as a spa technician preferred.
• Knowledge of proper spa cleaning and maintenance methods.
• Extensive knowledge of spa chemicals and their properties.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
• Ability to operate vehicles to transport various types of materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer’s water through testing, ensuring proper chlorine and pH levels.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as cleaning/replacing filters and underwater light fittings.
• Drain/re-fill hot tubs and swim spas.
• Maintain stocked inventory of equipment/chemicals and supplies.
• Use spa vacuum cleaners to clean the spa floor.
• Check and repair corrosion, cracks and leaks in spa walls or floors.
• Use telescopic pole with net to clean debris.
• May perform deliveries as needed.
• Operate Leslie’s provided company vehicle responsibly.
• Maintain records of all activities and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with service team to deliver superior customer service.
