Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort & Spa is seeking a Guest Services Associate at the Fort Myers location to efficiently handle front desk operations and guest inquiries. This role requires accurate payment processing, reservation verification, and timely responses to guest questions.

The position emphasizes courteous communication, adherence to hotel procedures, and collaboration with spa departments to ensure guest satisfaction. On-site work with competitive pay and benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to work in a hospitality setting and provide guest-focused service.
• Knowledge of cash handling, payments, and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Maintain professional appearance and adherence to hotel policies.
• Familiarity with hotel front desk procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations via Spa Soft.
• Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
• Process all check-outs including resolving issues and disputed charges.
• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Coordinate with other Spa Departments and providers to track service readiness.
• Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
• Run daily reports, identify special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
• Complete designated cashier and closing report in the computer system as well as Micros.
• Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
• Count the bank at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
