Job summary

The Spa Attendant/Front Desk Agent at Highgate Hotels is responsible for assisting the spa team and delivering a seamless guest experience, including scheduling appointments, checking guests in and out, and supporting retail sales.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of spa or retail experience preferred. SNHD Food Handler and TAM/Alcohol Awareness cards are required; bilingual abilities are a plus, and flexible hours are common in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of spa or related retail experience preferred.
• SNHD Food Handler and TAM/Alcohol Awareness card required.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests and members.
• Check guests and members in and out; administer keys to locker areas.
• Process transactions for events, guest fees, membership dues, etc.
• Handle all administrative functions of the spa including software usage, inventory, telephones, appointments, and inquiries.
• Be the initial source of information on spa offerings and procedures.
• Assist guests in the retail area.
• Arrange spa appointments for ala carte services/activities and packages.
• Monitor appointments and staffing for order and efficiency.
• Assist guests with spa prescriptions.
• Ensure facility is prepared for opening and closing daily.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of facilities; ensure amenities are in working order.
• Provide spa tours as necessary.
