Job summary

Perspire Sauna Studio in NYC is hiring a Studio Assistant (Spa Attendant/Housekeeper) to join our member service team. You will handle cleaning, towel inventory, guest interactions, and studio tours at our Flatiron and Williamsburg locations.

We offer opportunities for advancement, ongoing coaching, wellness perks, and flexible shifts. Starting pay is $18.00/hour with a raise to $18.50/hour after 90 days, based on performance and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and cleanliness required.
• Consistently positive, team player with can-do attitude.
• Verifiable history of excellent attendance.
• Open availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Prior housekeeping, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promptly clean a sauna room after guests depart and sanitize for the next appointment.
• Conduct regular deep clean activities per schedules and protocols.
• Audit towels and cleaning supplies upon delivery.
• Inspect and fold towels using prescribed techniques.
• Respond to guest inquiries and conduct studio tours for new guests.
• Attend a mandatory monthly team meeting.
• Assist Studio Management and Sales Associates with miscellaneous tasks including minor repairs.
• Physical duties include standing, lifting and carrying laundry and towels, and handling cleaning chemicals.

Job Summary

Are you passionate about health and wellness? Do you have a great attention to detail? If so, you need to join the member service team at our upscale sauna studio! We are looking for positive, confident, results-oriented team members who love to provide an excellent experience to our guests.

This is a position for a Studio Assistant (this is what we call our Spa Attendant/Housekeeper/Janitor role) at Perspire Sauna Studio in NYC. This position will be assigned shifts to work from 2 potential locations:

• Perspire Flatiron : 50 West 23rd St., New York, NY (Manhattan)
• Perspire Williamsburg : 191 N 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY

You will be working 3-5 shifts per week of 6-8 hours in length, based on a monthly schedule which may include weekday evenings and weekends.

• Physical demands: standing, lifting and carrying laundry and towels, and using cleaning chemicals.

Here’s what you need to bring:

• A great attention to detail and cleanliness
• A consistently positive, team player and no-job-is-too-small attitude
• A verifiable history of excellent attendance
• Open availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week
• Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial or customer service is a plus!

Compensation:

• Starting pay of $18.00/hour, paid every 2 weeks
• Pay raise to $18.50/hour after 90 days, subject to: no unexcused lateness or absences, consistent professionalism and compliance with company policies, 100% training completion, and successfully passing all quality assurance checks
