BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina in Columbia, SC is seeking a senior supervisor to oversee the MAR/SOX compliance program. This full-time onsite role directs staff, coordinates risk assessments, and ensures effective control testing across financial and operational processes.

The ideal candidate has a strong SOX/MAR background, COSO/COBIT knowledge, and excellent communication. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a pathway to leadership within the compliance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a job related field.
• 5 years-auditing, Sarbanes-Oxley/MAR, compliance, accounting/financial, or Information Systems experience.
• Two years in a lead auditor, project leader role or equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above (may be concurrent).

Responsibilities

• Supervises and provides guidance to staff in the development, implementation and performance of an internal control compliance program.
• Tests and ensures effectiveness of the control environment and reports deficiencies with remediation plans.
• Directs day-to-day activities of staff and assigns work to meet departmental goals.
