Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Risk Advisor to lead audit and advisory engagements across the organization’s subsidiaries, focusing on financial and entity-level risks. You will apply the COSO framework to strengthen governance and internal controls, partnering with management to design and monitor enterprise controls.

You will document processes, identify gaps, and provide actionable recommendations, while training leaders on risk management and remediation activities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required; 5+ years in related field, or 7+ years in lieu of degree.
• Experience performing audit and advisory engagements, with COSO/internal controls focus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to produce audit reports.

• Assist Audit Manager in audit/advisory engagements for major initiatives.
• Utilize COSO to design, implement, and monitor entity-level controls.
• Analyze processes to identify risks, gaps, and mitigation strategies.
• Document business processes, risks, and testing procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to management on risk and controls.
• Perform ad-hoc audits and report findings.
• Develop corrective action plans for control deficiencies.
