Job summary

Southcarolinablues, Columbia, SC, is seeking a Supervisor to lead the MAR/SOX compliance program onsite. This role supervises the team, directs internal control testing, and ensures timely reporting to the Department of Insurance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SOX/MAR auditing, strong COSO/COBIT knowledge, and proven leadership. A Bachelor's degree and excellent communication are required; onsite work with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a job-related field.
• 5 years of auditing, Sarbanes-Oxley/MAR, compliance, accounting/financial, or Information Systems experience.
• Two years in a lead auditor or project leader role (or military equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of the MAR/SOX team and guides staff.
• Directs control design, testing plans, and documentation of internal controls.
• Performs top-down, risk-based company-wide risk assessments.
• Reports deficiencies and remediation plans to management and regulators.
