Armanino is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Senior Associate to support SOX 404 and internal audit engagements in software, technology, and manufacturing environments. You will supervise engagements, lead a team, and work with clients and internal stakeholders to improve controls and processes.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple audits under deadlines, with opportunities to develop leadership and technical skills in IT general

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or corporate internal audit.
• Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act, COSO, internal audit, GAAP, and GAAS.
• Experience supervising staff professionals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Desire or progress on professional designations (e.g., CPA, CIA).

Responsabilités

• Supervise, plan, and execute client engagements from start to finish.
• Lead a team of staff members and communicate engagement status externally and internally.
• Monitor status, resolve open questions, and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate understanding of workpaper preparation.
• Develop skills to communicate with engagement teams and clients.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and identify improvements.
• Prepare and update business process flowcharts and control risk matrices.
• Assist with risk assessment, scoping analysis, and SOX control design.
