Job summary

BILL is hiring a SOX Manager for Business Process and IT Application Controls (ITAC) to lead the ICFR program and ensure robust internal controls. You’ll collaborate with process owners, internal and external auditors, and drive continuous improvements in risk assessment and control alignment.

The role emphasizes governance, optimization, and cross-functional partnership in a fast-growing fintech environment with strong emphasis on automation and policy standardization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in a large public accounting firm or Fintech with a focus on SOX 404 audits and ICFR for large accelerated filers.
• Experience in high-growth environments (Fintech/tech) is a plus.
• CPA or CIA preferred; CISA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual SOX compliance lifecycle for business processes and ITAC, including scoping, risk assessment, and remediation.
• Coordinate audits with management, control owners, Internal Audit, and External Auditors.
• Drive process optimization, automation, and cross-functional risk management.
• Support policy development and standardization across business units.
• Prepare status updates and remediation progress reports for management.
