Job summary

BILL, a leading fintech pioneer, is hiring a SOX Manager for Business Process and IT Application Controls to lead the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of the SOX 404 program. This role partners with business process and ITAC owners to ensure a robust ICFR environment and strong risk management across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in a large public accounting firm or Fintech with SOX 404 and ICFR focus.
• Fintech/tech experience is a plus; CPA/CIA is preferred; CISA is a plus.
• Deep understanding of SOX 404, COSO, and PCAOB standards.
• ERP/enterprise systems experience, especially NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SOX compliance lifecycle for business processes and ITAC, including scope, risk assessment, narratives, flowcharts, and testing.
• Coordinate audits with management, control owners, Internal Audit, and External Auditors.
• Identify deficiencies and drive remediation plans with owners.
• Drive process optimization and automation; support policy alignment across units.
• Manage PMO activities and status reporting for SOX initiatives.
