Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Farm Site Manager to oversee pig production, supervise staff, and ensure strict adherence to bio-security, animal welfare, and safety protocols on a rural Minnesota unit.

You will train employees, manage inventory, monitor budgets and production metrics, prepare reports, and coordinate with HR for staffing while upholding SOPs and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prefer 2 years post high school education with agricultural major.
• Prefer 4+ years livestock experience and 2 years supervisory experience with HS Diploma.
• Prefer 1 year Agriculture Swine Experience and 1 Year Supervisory Experience with 2 Years Post High School Agricultural Education.
• Safety Orientation Training and annual safety training are required.
• Animal Welfare Training/PQA Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train employees to follow all production protocols and procedures.
• Policing routine to monitor protocols, and monitor production and efficiencies.
• Ensure inventory management of swine, semen ordering & supplies.
• Monitor feed inventory and order when necessary.
• Analyze financial reporting and adjust to meet budget.

Education

High School Diploma or GED Required

2 Years Post High School Education With Agricultural Major

4+ Years Livestock Experience and 2 Years Supervisory Experience with HS Diploma

1 Year Agriculture Swine Experience and 1 Year Supervisory Experience with 2 Years Post High School Agricultural Education
