Job summary

Cooper Farms in Oakwood, Ohio (Paulding County) is hiring a Production Training Coordinator for the Sow Division to lead and coordinate all employee training, ensure SOPs, biosecurity and animal welfare, and develop Training Ambassadors with leadership coverage as needed.

You will translate training materials between English and Spanish, support leadership development, and partner with farm leadership to build consistent production practices across locations.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Business Management, Education, or related field.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong communication and leadership skills.
• Extensive knowledge of sow farm production systems, biosecurity, animal welfare, and employee development.
• Able to train employees at all levels and step in as Farm Manager when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate training for new and current team members across Sow Division locations.
• Develop Training Ambassadors and future leaders with hands-on plans.
• Ensure SOPs, animal welfare and biosecurity practices are followed.
• Translate training materials between English and Spanish and communicate expectations clearly.
• Provide Farm Manager coverage during staffing needs, vacations, or emergencies.
