Job summary

Little Leaf Farms seeks a Production Training Specialist to guide new hires through their initial two-week on-the-job training and acclimation in our greenhouse operations. You will deliver structured training, coaching, assessment, and documentation for Packing Operators and Harvest Technicians before they transition to their assigned shift and lead.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication.
• Strong verbal, written, and documentation skills.
• Ability to provide clear instruction, coaching, and constructive feedback.
• Ability to learn and deliver established training curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Guide newly hired employees through their initial two-week on-the-job training.
• Deliver established training curriculum for assigned production roles.
• Introduce employees to work centers, equipment, safety expectations, GMPs, sanitation, quality standards and production expectations.
• Observe employee performance and provide real-time coaching and corrective instruction.
• Complete required training records, checklists, and written assessments.
• Evaluate readiness and identify individuals needing additional coaching.
• Communicate progress and concerns to Operations leadership, HR, supervisors, and line leads.
• Provide a structured handoff of trained employees to their shift and lead.
• Train and coach employees in English and Spanish as needed.
• Document lessons learned and recommend improvements to training materials and onboarding processes.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and professional learning environment; reinforce safety, attendance, quality, and performance expectations.
