Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Growth Strategist in Nevada to drive growth of local water practices and expand client relationships. This in-office role emphasizes market development across the Southwest (AZ/NV/NM) and collaboration with project managers to win new work.

The candidate should have 10+ years in A/E/C, strong communication skills, and a track record in strategic BD, marketing collateral, and proposal development. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+years of A/E/C industry-related experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or a similar field.
• Flexibility to work outside normal working hours.
• Willingness to occasionally travel (as required) for business needs.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Confident communicator.
• Detail-oriented and proactive.
• Team player with a positive attitude/client service mentality.
• Strong ability to gather, interpret, and convey technical information.

Responsibilities

• Act as internal client manager for business development and pursuit activities for offices in AZ, NV, and NM.
• Conduct market research to identify strategic clients and opportunities in the market.
• Assist external BD activities to secure profitable new business.
• Position the firm for existing and future market opportunities.
• Identify, relationship build, pursue, and strategize for targeted clients and projects.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to support pursuit processes and leverage market insights.
• Develop business goals for AZ, NV, NM offices including reporting and forecasting.
