Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Growth Strategist to grow our Nevada water practice and lead business development across the Southwest region. This in-office role demands a proactive, strategic thinker with deep market knowledge.

You will drive client relationships, coordinate with project managers, and lead marketing efforts for proposals and pursuits. Travel may be required to support strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in A/E/C industry experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or similar field.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Confident communicator.
• Detail-oriented and proactive.
• Team player with a positive attitude/client service mentality.
• Strong ability to gather, interpret, and convey technical information.

Responsibilities

• Act as internal client manager for business development and pursuit activities for offices in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico.
• Conduct market research and intelligence to identify strategic clients and opportunities.
• Assist in external business development to ensure profitable new business is captured.
• Support marketing for proposals, presentations, and qualification deliverables.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to support pursuit processes and use market insights for strategy.
• Develop strategy for business goals and provide annual reporting and forecasting.
