Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Growth Strategist to expand our Nevada market from an in-office position. You will lead BD initiatives, cultivate client relationships, and drive the growth of our regional water practices across the Southwest.

The role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the Southwest market, collaboration with project managers, and the ability to forecast the work pipeline and report on progress. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of A/E/C industry-related experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or a similar field.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.
• Flexibility to work outside normal working hours.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Confident communicator.
• Detail-oriented and proactive.
• Team player with a positive attitude/client service mentality.
• Strong ability to gather, interpret, and convey technical information.

Responsabilités

• Acts as internal client manager for BD activities across AZ, NV, NM.
• Conducts market research and intelligence to identify strategic clients and opportunities.
• A self-starter to assist external business development and capture profitable new business.
• Favorably position the firm for current and future market opportunities.
• Assists with identification, relationship building, pursuit, and proposal strategy for targeted clients.
• Collaborates with leadership to support pursuit processes and forecast pipeline.
• Provides support for development of business goals across offices and reporting.
• Maintains an accurate pipeline and regular internal reporting.
• Initially lead and support marketing for proposals, presentations, and direct work-winning activities.
• May support strategic pursuits beyond local geography with some travel.
• Interacts with staff at all levels and leads BD meetings.
• Develops market engagement strategies and participates in professional organizations.
• Keeps up to date on market trends and applies findings to pursuit strategies.
• Manages multiple concurrent time-sensitive responsibilities.
