Job summary

Winpak is seeking an Area Sales Manager to support our Food and Beverage team, covering the southwestern United States. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager (West) and drive market development through strategic, consultative selling and multi-channel outreach.

You will identify new opportunities, build long-term client relationships, present Winpak’s value proposition (hardware, consumables, services), and manage orders and pricing while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years identifying and pursuing sales opportunities in a food/beverage market.
• 3+ years building long-term client relationships in a B2B environment.
• 2+ years using CRM software to track sales activity and pipeline.
• Able to travel up to 50% of the time to meet clients and attend events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-channel market development strategies to identify new customers, markets, and sales opportunities.
• Execute consultative selling, understanding customer challenges and delivering measurable business value.
• Manage customers and territory, including orders, pricing, and coordination with internal teams.
• Travel within the Southwestern US and participate in trade shows and seminars as needed.
