Aquarion Water Authority is seeking an experienced Manager to lead operational, maintenance, and improvement activities in the Southern Division. Reporting to the VP, CT Operations, this role oversees treatment facilities, distribution systems, and regulatory compliance while guiding a team of staff in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

The position requires a strong background in water utility operations, budget and project management, and collaboration with regulators and the community.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred but not required.
• Connecticut Class III Distribution Operator and/or Class IV Treatment Operator certification required.
• Full-time, benefit-eligible, exempt salaried role.
• On-call rotation involvement and regulatory/compliance responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead operational, maintenance, regulatory compliance and capital improvement activities within the Southern Division.
• Ensure safe, reliable operation of water treatment and distribution facilities and maintain water quality.
• Provide leadership to staff, manage budgets and capital projects, and act as liaison with regulators and community.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and manage emergency responses.
• Interface with regulatory agencies, towns served, and industry groups.
