Job summary

Gowan SeedTech is seeking a Southern Sales Rep to grow the vegetable seed treatment business across the southern US, with a focus on onions. You will build relationships with seed breeders, dealers, and growers, travel frequently, and represent GST's products at industry events.

The role requires 5+ years in crop protection or seed industry, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint. Travel and field demonstrations are expected, with P&L responsibilities for the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years field experience in crop protection/vegetable seed industry.
• Experience with onions and other vegetable crops preferred.
• Strong communication with growers, breeders, dealers, and university stakeholders.
• Ability to travel frequently and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with seed breeders, dealers, agronomists, and growers.
• Develop local champions for GST products with seed sales reps.
• Create plans to increase market share in the region.
• Provide product demonstrations and field trials with customers.
