Syngenta in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Area Sales Manager - Southeast to lead a high-performance sales team. You will shape go-to-market strategies for Vegetable Seeds, drive sales execution, and build strong relationships with growers and distributors in the Southeast.

The role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and a track record of delivering commercial results. You will collaborate with Product Development and Marketing to launch initiatives and optimize profitability for the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years in horticulture or agricultural sales with proven results.
• Leadership experience coaching and developing sales teams.
• Strong financial acumen including forecasting, budgeting, pricing.
• Excellent relationship-building with growers, dealers, and distributors.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive the evolution of go-to-market strategies in the area, aligned with the Commercial Unit goals.
• Develop the Vegetable Seeds offer and sales execution for the area.
• Nurture key contacts in the vegetable industry and build relationships with major influencers.
• Monitor performance and adjust strategies to meet sales and profitability targets.
• Provide high scientific, technical, and specialized product expertise; coordinate demo and demand generation with cross-functional teams.
