Syngenta is seeking an Area Sales Manager - Southeast to lead and develop a high-performance sales team in Gainesville, FL, driving sales and profit targets for the vegetable seeds business.

You'll provide high scientific and technical product expertise, design go-to-market strategies, build key industry relationships, and coordinate with Product Development and Marketing to execute campaigns. This role rewards leadership, market insight, and commercial results in agriculture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years of horticulture/agricultural sales with proven results.
• Leadership experience coaching and developing sales teams.
• Strong commercial/financial acumen: forecasting, budgeting, pricing, data-driven decisions.
• Builds trusted relationships with growers, dealers, and distributors.
• Deep vegetable seed market knowledge and strategic territory planning.
