You will build relationships with EDOs, real estate developers, site selectors, and industry leaders, coordinating with Sales, Operations, and Marketing to drive growth.

The role emphasizes intelligence gathering, pipeline development, and cross-functional collaboration to expand Carolina Handling’s market reach in the industrial sector.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3–5 years in business development, economic development, commercial real estate, industrial sales, or related field.
• Strong understanding of the Southeast industrial real estate market and ecosystem.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop early-stage business opportunities across the Southeast.
• Build strategic market intelligence and cultivate industry relationships.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Marketing to target opportunities.
• Engage economic development organizations, real estate developers, and site selectors.
• Create qualified growth opportunities and strengthen market presence.
• Log signals and prospects in CRM; qualify prospects before passing to sales.
• Deliver weekly intelligence briefing to sales leadership.
