Job summary

Egis in Miami seeks an Area Business Leader to drive the South Florida transportation design practice. You will steer client service, business development, and project delivery, building relationships with Florida agencies at local, regional, and state levels, including FDOT, MPOs, and cities.

Reporting to the U.S. Southeast Regional Manager, you’ll manage staff, budgets, pursuits, and go/no-go decisions, while shaping regional strategy and mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or technical expertise or equivalent experience.
• Licensed professional engineer in Florida.
• Minimum 12 years of progressively responsible experience.
• Engineer II classification or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with key client decision-makers and leaders from teaming partner firms and develop client management and engagement plans for key clients.
• Populate, update, and maintain the opportunity pipeline and coordinate pursuit targets.
• Manage budgets and schedules on projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Lead staff performance, mentoring, and development with input from discipline leaders.
• Coordinate with discipline leaders to ensure quality control on all project elements.
