Job summary

ICOP, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the South Florida market to lead business development and sales efforts. You will build relationships with owners, developers, general contractors, and engineers while coordinating with estimators, engineers, and operations to pursue profitable projects.

The role emphasizes growth in the Florida market, leveraging ICOP’s geotechnical and specialty construction capabilities, and collaborating with internal teams to win high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction sales, business development, estimating, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes from planning to delivery.
• Established relationships with Florida contractors, owners, developers, engineers, or related participants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, construction managers, owners, developers, engineers, and other industry partners.
• Expand ICOP’s presence throughout South Florida by leveraging existing relationships and building new contacts.
• Identify projects early in planning, design, preconstruction, and bidding phases.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers and understand client procurement processes and pipelines.
• Generate and qualify new project opportunities aligned with ICOP’s capabilities and objectives.
• Maintain regular contact with key accounts and foster long-term client relationships.
• Represent ICOP at client meetings, industry events, and other BD activities.
• Communicate ICOP’s capabilities and value proposition effectively to clients.
• Coordinate with estimating, engineering, and operations to evaluate opportunities and craft competitive solutions.
• Participate in bid/no-bid decisions, pursuit strategy, scope development, and commercial discussions.
• Assist in transitioning awarded projects from sales to operations.
