Job summary

HDR is seeking a BES Regional Business Group Director to lead the Building Engineering Services group for the South Central region, overseeing approximately five states in the U.S. The role focuses on regional strategy, staffing, business development, and cross-functional leadership to drive quality and HDR values.

The candidate will collaborate with Market Sector leadership, drive regional initiatives, and ensure effective risk management and project oversight in a dynamic engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a professional, architecture, engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience leading diverse teams.
• Strong business skills and commitment to HDR values.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a regional BES program and staffing plans.
• Lead regional BG initiatives with Market Sector and leadership.
• Collaborate with other regional directors and managers to drive BES strategies.
• Drive P&L performance and support regional initiatives.
• Mentor and develop Area Business Group Managers and staff.
• Participate in annual planning, budgets, and backlogs review.
