Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an Engineering Department Manager to lead the South Campus team. You will supervise daily operations, ensure adherence to policies, and maintain facilities to support uninterrupted patient care.

The role requires strong building systems knowledge, prior maintenance management experience in a hospital setting, and the ability to develop programs that meet safety and regulatory standards while guiding staff toward department

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; 2-4 years in a maintenance management position.
• Licensed in one of the building trades preferred.
• Experience with building systems, boiler plants, life safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the South Campus Engineering operations to ensure quality of services.
• Maintains operations within fiscal and productivity guidelines of the Hospital.
• Supervises Engineering personnel to achieve department goals.
• Develops and achieves annual campus engineering goals aligned with Hospital mission.
• Develops and administers programs to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment; oversees repairs, renovations and preventive maintenance.
