Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee the South Campus engineering operations and lead the team to maintain hospital facilities in line with safety and regulatory standards.

You will develop and implement maintenance programs, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to hospital policies while supporting patient care and hospital mission.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; two to four (2-4) years in a maintenance management position, hospital experience preferred.
• Licensed in one of the building trades preferred.
• Complete understanding of building systems and boiler plants; ability to organize work and direct a wide range of personnel; strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Physical Environment, Environment of care, life safety and regulatory compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Manager of Engineering, supervises the South Campus Engineering team to ensure quality of services.
• Maintains operations of the South Campus within fiscal and productivity guidelines.
• Directs South Campus Engineering personnel to achieve Department goals.
• Develops and achieves annual South Campus Engineering goals and assigns objectives that support Hospital goals and mission.
• Develops and administers programs to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment; administers a preventive maintenance program to ensure safe conditions for staff and uninterrupted patient care.
