Job summary

This innovative pathway lets residents earn their Master’s Degree and Teaching Credential in just one year through National University while joining a mentor-based program with emphasis on diversity, social justice, and equity.

After residency, graduates receive priority hiring as full-time teachers within the consortium districts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree must be completed by June 2027.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• GPA of 2.5 or higher preferred (Applicants with GPA below 2.5 encouraged to apply).

Responsibilities

• Participate in the South Bay Consortium Teacher Residency program.
• Earn a Master’s Degree and Preliminary Teaching Credential in one year through National University.
• Receive priority hiring for a full-time teaching position after residency.
