Job summary

Manteca Unified School District seeks qualified educators with a clear California teaching credential (Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist) to join our team. A bachelor’s degree and English Learner certification are required.

You will support intervention programs, mentor teachers, assist with behavior and attendance initiatives, lead professional development, and collaborate with families to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a clear Multiple Subject Credential or a clear Single Subject Credential or Education Specialist Instruction Credential.
• Bachelor degree from an accredited university.
• Possession of a valid California teaching credential.
• English Learner certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and leads interventions to help redirect behavior and improve academics and attendance.
• Assists with student behavior support plans to redirect inappropriate behavior and promote positive behaviors.
• Supports teachers by providing interventions during the 90-block period, as part of Tier 1.
• Assists administration with intervention programs by coaching, implementing, and modeling strategies for teachers.
• Works with parents to address student needs, including workshops and home visits.
• Provides support in implementing programs and curricula targeting social-emotional learning.
• Maintains intervention and program data to assist site administration in progress monitoring.
• Keeps current in education through classes, workshops, and conferences for professional development in intervention programs.
• Attends site and district staff meetings, advisory councils, committees, in-services, and workshops.
• Maintains privacy and confidentiality relating to all students, teachers, and staff.
• Adheres to and promotes the school and district mission and policies.
