Sous Chef, Outlets - Signia by Hilton Atlanta (Finance)

Signia by Hilton Atlanta is searching for a talented Sous Chef to help lead their culinary team! This is a 976-room property with over 140,000 sq. ft. in banquet space and 8 unique F&B outlets. This position will primarily support The Lobby Bar and Club Signia.

The ideal candidate will be a highly creative culinary professional with 3-5 years of leadership experience in a high-volume setting. This leader will oversee a team of 10 culinary professionals and report directly to the Executive Sous Chef of Outlets. Proven experience in managing multiple outlets, ordering, scheduling, mentoring, controlling food and labor costs, and contributing to menu development is essential. A background in hotels is preferred. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a driven culinary leader ready to take the next step in their career.

Shift Pattern: Full-Time; full availability including weekdays, weekends, and holidays is required.

What will I be doing?

As Sous Chef, you will assist with directing and overseeing culinary operations to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Executive Chef in all culinary operations, including meal preparation, food quality, safety standards, team performance, policy implementation, and cost control
  • Creating and implementing menus for special banquets and events based on current trends and regional tastes
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards
  • Monitoring and developing team member performance through supervision, counseling, training, scheduling, and recognition
