MGM Resorts International seeks a Sous Chef for Primrose inside Park MGM in Las Vegas. Lead a culinary team, ensuring exceptional cuisine and flawless service to create WOW moments during every shift.

You will train staff, manage daily line operations and collaborate with the Executive Chef on goals that drive profit and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of supervisory/chef experience.
• 5+ years of experience in high-volume restaurant production in hotel/casino settings preferred.
• Experience managing employees under a Collective Bargaining Agreement preferred.

Responsabilités

• Train Master Cooks, Cooks, Pantry Workers and Helpers on job responsibilities.
• Ensure requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area.
• Label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
• Maintain knowledge of base sauces, stocks and soups and supervise quality.
• Communicate with management and staff to address guest and employee needs.
• Assist Executive Chef with purchasing, receiving and inventory control.
• Prepare and administer kitchen schedule.
• Help Executive Chef set goals for profit, product and people.
