Job summary

Morrison Living, a Compass Group USA member, is seeking a Sous Chef in Florida. This role supports the overall food program, planning, ordering, inventory, and prep while ensuring adherence to health regulations and company standards.

The Sous Chef I motivates and directs back-of-house staff to achieve top-quality service and dining experiences. Qualified candidates have at least 5 years of culinary experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role, and possess knowledge of cost controls,

Qualifications

5 years of related culinary experience, including 1 year at the management level.
Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, or related food service operations.
Knowledge of food quality, sanitation, safety, and food cost controls.

Responsibilities

Assist with planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation.
Coordinate and participate in the preparation and cooking of items; ensure quality and presentation.
Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
Assist with cost controls and expenditure management.
