Morrison Living, a member of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Sous Chef I to support the overall success of the food program. The role covers planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation, aligning with client culture, Health Department regulations, and company standards.

You will lead back-of-house teams, motivate and train associates, and help roll out culinary programs with the marketing and culinary teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related culinary experience including 1 year at the management level.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, or corporate dining.
• Knowledge of food quality, production, sanitation, safety, and presentation.
• Ability to set up and distribute production sheets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and participating in the preparation and cooking of various food items.
• Assist with planning and creating menus.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Assist with managing cost controls and controlling expenditure.
