Job summary

Marlow's Tavern is currently seeking a Sous Chef for one of our high-volume tavern locations. This role requires a passion for chef-driven food and a scratch kitchen, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced team environment.

You will execute food preparation to world-class standards, manage line stations, and ensure safety and sanitation while delivering quality dishes to guests. Candidates must have 2 years of scratch kitchen experience and be authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have 2 years of experience working in scratch kitchen.
• 2 years prep or line cook experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and team work skills.
• Able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Set up station with food products and utensils.
• Prepare raw ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes.
• Assist in final quality checks before service.
• Read orders and prepare dishes to guest specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station and kitchen areas.
