Job summary

Starwood Hotels in San Francisco is seeking a detail-oriented Sous Chef to motivate a team and manage the daily operations of a high-volume, fast-paced scratch kitchen.

You will assist in all manner of food prep, supervise line staff, manage inventory, and learn from some of the most creative chefs in the industry. This role requires at least 2 years in culinary operations and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a culinary environment.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in culinary arts is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary operations.
• Strong leadership with guest and team engagement and financial performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and able to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
