Job summary

CulinArt Sector in Shaker Heights, OH is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in preparing and overseeing kitchen operations. This role requires prior cooking and supervisory experience and offers a path to leadership on a busy production line.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling, payroll, training, and reviews.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils; ensures proper food handling and serving temperatures.
• Keeps work area clean and displays food properly during service.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assists in menu explanations and manages peak production and service hours.
• Monitors inventory and communicates low supplies to supervisor.
