HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Sous Chef for the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. The role oversees daily kitchen production for hotel restaurants and room service, while leading the culinary team and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of post-high school education; culinary education desirable.
• Five+ years in a related position, hotel experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of food production, BOS/FOH coordination, budget familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and coordinate daily kitchen production for hotel restaurants and room service.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop kitchen staff; schedule labor and performance reviews.
• Monitor sanitation, safety, and cost controls to meet budgets and standards.
• Assist Executive Chef with menu costing, seasonal dishes, and special events.
