Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort seeks a friendly Restaurant Server to join the team. Provide guests with attentive service, greet guests, take and relay orders, and ensure accurate delivery.

Qualifications

• Professional appearance and courtesy at all times.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Understanding of table settings and menu items.
• Ability to upsell desserts and beverages.
• Ability to lift and carry trays up to 30 lbs.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain specials.
• Record and confirm guest orders; input into POS.
• Deliver orders to tables promptly with accuracy.
• Ensure responsible beverage service per state laws.
• Replenish beverages and offer desserts or coffees.
• Close checks and assist with restaurant duties as needed.
