Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a housekeeping supervisor for The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort to maintain a safe, clean, and guest-ready environment across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

You will lead the housekeeping team, provide training and performance feedback, and ensure adherence to health, sanitation, and safety standards while controlling inventory and expenses. A strong focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and move around the property.
• Strong verbal and written communication needed to coach staff and interact with guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff, providing open communication, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff; address problems and enforce discipline when needed.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and back of the house to maintain high cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assign tasks and manage supplies to control inventory and expenses and ensure smooth operations.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns to uphold excellent service standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations across all areas.
