Job summary

Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking a passionate Sous Chef for Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club in Miami's Mid-Beach. You will collaborate with our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences at a premier oceanfront resort.

The ideal candidate will show strong leadership, excellent communication, and keen attention to detail. You will coordinate daily with the Executive Chef on planning, staffing, and procedures, manage daily requisitions and specials, and assist in hiring, training,

Qualifications

• College degree or certification in culinary field/hospitality (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, hotel or resort setting.
• Knowledge of a variety of culinary techniques and cuisines.
• Ability to manage inventory including ordering and receiving products.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead with the Executive Chef and collaborate with the culinary team.
• Plan staffing, daily operations, and internal procedures; communicate updates daily.
• Complete daily food requisitions and daily specials; assist in hiring and training.
• Participate in menu development, manage inventory, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to perfection and guest satisfaction is achieved.
