Makeready and its Chouette concept in Columbus, OH, seeks a passionate culinary leader to maintain the standards set by the Executive Chef while participating in daily operations and menu ideation. You will help design menus, ensure timely, high-quality prep, and stand in for the executive chef as needed.

The role requires prior Sous Chef experience, strong food preparation skills, and a patient, detail-oriented approach.

Competenze

• Prior experience as a Sous Chef highly preferred.
• Excellent food preparation skills.
• Patient, understanding and detailed personality.
• Keen eye for detail for cleanliness and efficiency.

Mansioni

• Help in the preparation and design of all food menus.
• Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely way to meet quality standards.
• Fill in for the executive chef in planning and directing food preparation, when necessary.
• Solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
• Train culinary team members, establishing schedules and enforcing sanitation regulations and safety standards.
