Job summary

Highland Springs by Erickson Senior Living in North Dallas, Texas, invites an experienced Sous Chef to join our Signature Dining team. You will lead kitchen operations, coordinate staff, and ensure timely, high-quality resident meals in a controlled, day-friendly schedule.

The role requires at least 3 years of full-service experience and 6 months of supervisory coaching. Compensation starts at $60,000 with eligibility for up to 8% annual bonus, and our benefits include medical/dental/vision,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years full-service experience required.
• Minimum of 6 months supervisory and coaching experience required.
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures in hot kitchen and cold storage.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the scheduling, training, and discipline of all culinary and utility staff.
• Manages daily kitchen production and food preparation for timely resident meals.
• Directs preparation and service of all menu items with recipes, safety, and quality adherence.
• Oversees organization and sanitation of dining rooms, kitchen, storage, and loading dock.
