Brock & Company Inc is seeking a Sous Chef II for a full-time corporate dining program in the Durham area. You will lead a kitchen team, prepare fresh dishes, and help shape dynamic corporate dining and catering menus. Qualifications

• Background in banquet or catering production preferred.
• Ability to interpret recipes, production orders and cooking instructions.
• Proven ability to manage a kitchen and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Directly prepare food including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering items as directed by the Chef Manager.
• Supervise at least two full-time employees in preparation and service of food.
• Set up stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food.
• Assist management in purchasing, inventory control and training.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Provide exemplary customer service in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.
