Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks a Sous Chef to manage the Culinary Department's daily operations at a facility. You will assist in supervision, preparation, and cooking, develop menus, and work with the Executive Chef on ordering and menu planning. This role suits an energetic culinary professional.

Responsibilities include assisting with cost controls, planning menus, producing catering events, and launching new culinary programs with the marketing and culinary teams.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful.
• Knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation and presentation.
• Computers experience: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet.
• Willing to participate in client satisfaction programs.
• ServSafe certified.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Executive Chef with cost controls and expenditures.
• Assists the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus.
• Produces and executes catering events.
• Rolls out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team.
