Eurest, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring immediately for a full-time Sous Chef at General Dynamics in Phoenix, AZ. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–3:00 pm. Pay: $26.00–$29.00 per hour.

This key role leads kitchen staff and supports the Executive Chef in menu execution and daily production standards. Responsibilities include cooking to approved recipes, supervising hourly cooks, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation, and managing inventory and deliveries.

• Banquets, mass production, and catering experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling and training.
• Stores food in designated areas following sanitation procedures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints and relay information to supervisor.
• Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and communicates them to staff.
• Monitors peak production and service hours.
• Monitors inventory and deliveries; informs supervisor when supplies are low.
